The melody is not bad! The bass fits well and the mix is quite pleasant. However, the bell sound you use for the main melody sounds too sharp, try softening it down a bit. The hihat is a bit too loud aswell.

Quite nice though :)

texeon-music responds:

Thanks a lot for the response, and a quick one at that. I used the parametric EQ 2 to change the sharpness on the main melody and have lowered the volume on the hi hat and the snare because I personally though it was too loud. Hope you like it.

This is one of the few songs that I didn't even think about before already adding it to my game. It fits so greatly, and I'm now deciding whether or not to add SFX or just keep it to the music.

The amount of energy that is put in this song is not too much yet not too less. Great switches between soft and hard parts, nice rebuilds and all the melodies and sounds fit pretty well.

Keep making music ;)

Nice, man. Thanks a lot! Glad you're diggin my older tunes :)

Can't wait to see how the game turns out as well! Good luck my friend, talk to you soon, I'm sure.

All by ear? Nice!

Nice remix, love the slides throughout some of the notes. Those kind of things are mostly liked in VGM remixes.

One thing though; The main tune in the beginning is low in the biggest part, then all of a sudden 2 notes at the full volume. This sounds a bit weird, don'tcha think?

Catstuffer responds:

Thanks for reviewing!

I'm not 100% sure about when you hear these two louder notes, can you give me a time stamp of when it happens so I can fix it? :P Thanks for pointing out your findings though! I made sure that the really high notes in the intro were turned down a LOT because they are REALLY screetchy. The song just goes so high!

Thanks again :)

It's a good start

As much as you've used the synths you have well, it misses a really important thing:
Where is the beat?
Even a simple percussion line could make this way better.

MwroarJello responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't really worked on this in a while. I'll have a fiddle about and see what I can do :)

Omfg

Omg! I'm 99% sure this song is the the 'Nyan Cat!' iPhone app! :D
(See, it's THAT awesome!)

Bunnymajs responds:

Glad you noticed ;) and yaa.. The creator of nyan cat like it, and payed me to use it for the app ;D

Hey Bio, just a question

Love the song ;)
I'm looking for some good songs for a game I am making and this fits perfectly.
I'd like to know if you'll allow me to use this. If so, <3

TheBiocide responds:

Sure thing, man. Just as long as you message me a link to the game ;)

OCP = OverClocked Power?

NO JOYOUS REVIEW SIR

dat bass

I don't really like DS, but with this kind of bass I <3 it

Catstuffer responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Pretty cool

It's a bit abrupt at ending the notes, you might want consider to make that lead sound cut off a bit flowingly, instead of instantly. It's just my opinion, but I think it'd sound a bit better.

Catstuffer responds:

I originally had more reverb on the Main synth, it may have filled the sound out a little bit more, but it was causing my levels to be skewed. I couldn't get the mix correct. I reduced it to a lighter reverb, and it sounds more clear now.

Thanks for reviewing!
